One of the special exhibitions at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art was From the Vault: The 80th Anniversary Exhibition. This show was created to celebrate the museum’s long history, and it featured over one hundred artists. Each artist contributed something unique—there were colorful paintings, detailed drawings, creative mixed-media pieces, and eye-catching installations.

I really enjoyed seeing such a wide variety of subjects, styles, and techniques all in one place. Some artworks were bold and abstract, while others were soft and realistic. The use of different materials and methods showed how creative and diverse art can be. I could tell that each artist put a lot of thought and heart into their work. I truly admired their dedication and passion for making art that speaks to people in different ways. The exhibition made me feel inspired and grateful to experience such meaningful creativity.
A happy moment for Julie after Shai autographed her drawing before the Thunder game at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City :D
