Defying Gravity: A Wicked Exhibition

Saturday. February 28. 2026

On a sunny Saturday, my friends and I visited Alhambra to see the group exhibition Defying Gravity: A Wicked Exhibition at Gallery Nucleus. My piece “The Wicked Journey” was also part of the show, so it felt really special and meaningful to be there in person. The exhibition celebrated the films Wicked,” and artists created poster style works inspired by its magical world and characters.

For my piece, I used graphite pencil to express the dreamy and emotional feeling of the story through black and white tones.

I loved seeing how each artist interpreted the world of “Wicked” in such different ways. Some pieces felt magical and playful, while others felt emotional and dramatic. My friends and I spent a long time looking through the show and enjoying the creative energy of the space. Being part of this exhibition and sharing the gallery with so many talented artists became a really memorable experience for me.
